Used to be that 200+ folks would show up for the family reunion on my mama’s side of the family.  When her Mama had 14 brothers & sisters, it would stand to reason there would be a pile of folks at the reunions.

Now, only 3 of the 15 remain & one of them has advanced Alzheimer’s.  It’s sad none of my cousins care to keep up the tradition really.

Anyway, of those in attendance we have a judge, a couple of lawyers, the former AG of GA, a nurse, a cop, a fireman, a major league baseball hopeful, a mechanic, a trucker, a construction company owner, a real estate agent, a preacher, 2 former librarians, a couple of home makers, 1 home wrecker, and one total whack job.  If anybody can guess who any of the folks are (aside from me, The Husband, The Girl & The Boy), you’ll get a prize.  Extra points if you recognize the home wrecker…

I can’t pick her out! We just had a reunion for my hubby’s family. His dad was #9 of 10 boys, and then 2 adopted daughters…probably adopted to help with the boys. There were about 150 of us, but we’ve also found out that the ‘younger’ generations just don’t care about the ‘old’ stories. I’m hoping to get a reunion planned for next year with just the immediate family. There a 8 kids and lots of grands, so it would be fun, but only if we have it somewhere where the kids can have fun.
Looks like a nice group there!

I’m a guessin’ that the homewrecker is the curly haired blond in the front row with the sunglasses. 🙂

Lord no, Charles. Aunt Nell is one of the best folks there. Serious, she’s a really great person.
