Ahhhh…Lazy Saturday

The kids slept late, so breakfast became brunch.

Now, I ask you…is that not one damned good looking omelet?

Eat your heart out, Waffle House.

Be nice to the WH. At least you don’t have a 3/4 hour-long ride to get to the only one in the northern half of your state…. Besides, it’s the home fries that make Waffle House. Wish I could do ’em that well…

Home fries? Waffle Houses around here have hash browns, but not home fries. Scattered, smothered, covered, chunked, diced, topped.

It’s hard to be nice to a place where you make a whopping $2.34/hr to deal with drunks who steal the few tips you make off your tables. And the place where the lot lizards use your bathrooms to squeegee themselves with Massengil between their patrons and you have to clean that crap up. I love their food, but working there was pure hell.

NFO, it’s stuffed with sausage. I draw the line at double meat. 😛

    Does it have mushrooms?

I’m trying to think…yeah, that was mine, so it did have sauteed mushrooms, onions, bell pepper, tomatoes, sausage & sliced cheddar.

Molly had her’s without mushrooms, David had his without bell pepper.

    😉

Tomorrow is going to be biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs & sausage…I think.

Then again, it may be grits, bacon, sunnyside eggs & toast.

Then again, I may sleep in & they may have to eat Corn Flakes. 😀
