Day 2 of Primitive Arms season here in Northern GA and there are TWO deer in the fridge, cooling & waiting to be processed.

Ground meat, stew meat, sausage, jerky & the BEST- tenderloin.

Fried tenderloin, hot homemade biscuits, gravy, black-eyed peas, cabbage & German Chocolate cake for supper tonight!!

    What constitutes primitive arms in Georgia? Hubby and I were curious. Just how primitive must it be? (picturing spears here lol)

    Well, apparently they don’t consider bows/arrows primitive, because bow season opened a couple of weeks ago.

    Black powder rifles are “primitive” in their mind though & that’s what the husband was using this morning.

    I’ve always said if there was a Club, Rock & Spear Chucking season, there’d be takers on that too. 😀
