Easter Dinner

The husband has to work & my parents are out of town getting their taxes done (Thanks Dad for waiting until March 31st to call your CPA & make the appointment on Easter AGAIN!), so there is no real “Easter Dinner” today.

By popular demand, I’m cooking breakfast.

Sausage- it’s not ham, but it’s still pork

Eggs, scrambled- well, they’re not boiled, but an egg is an egg

Biscuits- they’re not rolls, but they are at least homemade

Gravy- I’m really at a loss as to what to compare sausage gravy to when it comes to a “traditional Easter dinner”

Sliced strawberries- Fruit!

I doubt there will be any complaints. 😉

Rejoice in That Which IS Easter!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

25Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

26And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

John 11:25-26

8Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

9Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

10For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

11Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:8-11

I believe that sums it up succinctly.

You & Yours!
