When did they change that?

According to the weather channel, it’s raining here.

Apparently, when I wasn’t looking, the definition of rain changed.  Now, it would seem that rain drops are big, white, fluffy & frozen.

At least that’s how the “rain” is that is falling here at the moment.

And when the temp drops 1 more degree, it’s going to start sticking and freezing over.

    Yeah…we’re expecting about a trace to three inches of that type of rain, tonight.

    The kids at the Weather Channel do have issues with what the different levels of precipitation are. No surprise. And if it isn’t a major metro area, it doesn’t count. Sort of like out here in the Desert.
