One of the better birthdays actually

It was a decent day, 40 and all.

I had school and my best buddy brought me a funky little cake (pictures later), a Over the Hill balloon, & a bottle of prune juice.  Heh.

Another friend gave me some assorted teas, coffees & chocolates.

Molly gave me a necklace, David gave me fuzzy pajamas (guess he was tired of me stealing his pajama pants when my legs were cold) and James gave me jeans, a pretty red shirt, a coat & gloves.  I gave myself a fancy new coffee maker and some shoes last week.

I didn’t notice any new lines or wrinkles this morning and I covered up the shiny gray hairs last night.

I was breathing and nothing hurt, so I’m happy. 😉

Sounds like a good day! My hubby brought home a dozen red roses for me for Valentine’s Day, and my B’dy. Of course, those are both next week, but it is the thought that counts! LOL!

Considering the other two things your buddy gave you.
Are you sure it’s safe to show a picture of the cake?

You know what they say- A birthday is just the first day of another 365-day journey around the sun. Enjoy the trip.

    Happy Birthday!!!

Thanks, Mrs. Crankipants. Don’t know if I’ve ever told you this anywhere else, but I love your name! 🙂
