Back in the Swing

After a whole 2 days of class, only one with books, we had our first exam today.

I hate the first exam. Never know what the teacher is looking for, if she’s throwing stuff in just to add to confusion, etc…

Confusing test to a degree, but an A for a grade, none-the-less.

Another test this week in Drug Calc & Admin. That one will be an absolute cake walk. When doing math, there is only ONE right…with this other stuff, there are multiple rights, just one option is “righter”.

Then a whopping week and a half to the next exam over 5 chapters.

And clinicals start in 3 weeks! Gads.

And just what will these classes lead to? I must’ve missed that somewhere.

Well, by this time next year, me obtaining my LPN, then 2 years from that, obtaining my RN with cardiology as my specialty. And now, I’m toying with the idea of Nurse Practitioner after that (thanks to Rhonda).

Keep up, would ya Crucis? Sheesh! šŸ˜‰

Sniggs, that’s what I thought but wasn’t going to embarass myself if it turned out to be something else line Pharmacy. The beginnings of both are much the same.

That said, some Pharmacy chains that have opened “clinics” in their stores are hiring Nurse Practitioners like mad. Especially in smaller towns where there may not be a resident Doc. They’ve been trying to coax a retired Doc friend of mine to come in twice a week for office hours or for emergency back-up. Some of the clinics are equipped to be mini-ERs.

There’s opportunity there for some folks.

It’s okay, Crucis. Just don’t let it happen again. (Kidding!!!)

That sounds sorta promising…I’ll have to look into it for sure!!
