Can’t make up my mind whether I find that to be a bad thing or not.

I think it’s more about seceding from Obamacare as anything else. I think the Great Dispute in the mid-19th century settled whether a peaceful secession would be allowed. ‘Course there’d still be some Ronbot who’d want to fire on Ft. Sumpter.

Petitioning the WH is meaningless. If they are REALLY serious, they need to petition the state legislature, pass a seccession bill, have the Gov sign and THEN deliver it to the WH.
Then it goes downhill from there.

I don’t take it seriously for two reasons: 1) It’s likely not all of the signatures on the petitions even come from the specific state (Indiana is a great example of that) and 2) I don’t expect the Obama administration will ever consider these petitions in any serious fashion, even if any of them reach the 25,000 signature mark required for an automatic review.
