Not really, but sorta.
That’s what we did in class today- fire safety and how to correctly use a fire extinguisher.
I can never cease to be amazed at inexperience and ignorance of many of my classmates.
The pheromones were phlying too…the instructor was a nice black guy from the local fire department. His assistant was a young, fairly handsome black guy. The black girls in the class were acting like they were in heat over these two guys. Hell, the assistant and one of my least favorite classmates spent the entire time we were watching the movie texting each other.
Guess they made a date for tonight…or something.
Anyway, it tickled me when the dipshit got up for her turn to put out the fire. They clearly instructed, “Aim for these 4 sensors, not at the actual flames!”. Where did dipshit aim? Straight for the flames. And dear Lord at her “sweep”. You’d think she was fanning the flames instead of trying to put them out.
My turn came, they started the fire, I picked up my extinguisher, pulled the pin, aimed dead at the sensors and squeezed the trigger, calmly sweeping back and forth. 5 seconds later and the “fire” was out.
And I got to leave an hour early!
Took the kids back-to-school shopping and I’m broke again. However, the kids are basically happy with new notebooks, book bags, various supplies, shoes & clothes. Happy kids make me happy.
And it sounds like Armageddon is about to occur via thundercloud, so…I’m outta here.
